After a visit to:
http://www.anet-dfw.com/~lkstar/

Lauren,
Your concept for a site is great- all meat!
While you are constructing please keep your format the same. It is so
refreshing to visit a sight that is free of gadgets and graphics. You casn
add all that type of stuff w/links and not sacrifice your mission......keep
up the good work!
Brian

To artsednet fans,
I just got around to visiting this site- I think you will agree that it
has great potential!!!! I have done a similar unit with MS kids using paper
mache' but I think the Egyptian paste would be a quicker project
(production-wise) and could be used for all age groups and could even
suppliment units on design, calligraphy etc as it relates to art neuveau.
Missing are directions for Egyption paste and supplementary materials
such as fuzzywire tissue celophane (real wire for older kids- tiewire from
Hrdwr store wors great and is cheap [though a bit dirty] for legs and wings.
This would also make a neat jewelry project for HS-MS -substutute sheet
copper fo celophane and add findings -use rub and buff or similar product
over flat dark latex base to creat a patina of ancient bronze or gold.

Lauren again;
After all my BS about gadgets- If you could create a form which
incorporates your format for lessons it would be very easy for us to submit
plans for your review and you woul;d have to do very little editing to post
them-- and I'm sure you would get ooodles (did I say that?) of responses.
Adios for now
Fozzie
