Davis Publications has a book I use in my HS classroom called, "The Visual
Experience". The first chapter deals with that very issue. It shows
pictures of all kinds of art and quizzes students on which they think is art. Of
course all of pictures ARE art. They are surprised with the answer. You may
want to send for a TE copy.
