Hello all, I am Ken Schwab a longtime member of this group and groups before. I
have given many projects to the Incredible Art Dept. but my friend and I have
created lessons for art educators that are pretty involved.

I wanted to tell everyone about a new complete course Art II, I have worked on
with my fellow retiree Bob Capitolo. We did Art I last year. Bob and I also
wrote a book out of Sterling Press called "Drawing Course 101" but since then,
we have created a website with lessons for art educators. These lessons don't
cost much, but it took us a lot of work to create them.

In this website, we have written complete lesson plans with hints and tips, some

charts, examples as well as a very complete PowerPoint demonstration of each
project. We have both taught for over 36 years each and we want to share or
programs. We also tied every project in Art 2 to the national standards with
questions at the end of each lesson. We both taught A.P. art since 1985 and I
only had one student get a 2, mostly 4's and 5's. This Art 2 comes after doing
Art 1 and we worked on it for a year.

If you checkout our website it will explain and show you examples of the works
in Art II. We based Art II on the Modes of design and eight color schemes. We
tell you the Elements and of Art and the Principles of Composition and use them
along with the eight Color Schemes to produce 7 involved and different
projects. If you are interested in Art II, or others we have done, then go to: Check it out.

thank you,

Ken Schwab
