The Book you mention is called Purple , Green and Yellow it is by
Robert Munsch another one which was recommended by Ken Veith (author of
 From Ordinary to Extraorinary) at a recent workshop is Seven Blind Mice
by Ed Young. Veith used it as an intro to a drawing lesson on Albrecht
Durer's Rhinoceros. He gave students patterns of Rhinos and students
filled the traced image in with lines, patterns etc. They turned out
wonderful. Check out Ken Veith he has great ideas. Good luck ,Gina
