I am still reading the lists - just not "talking" as much.
I have been busy this summer helping my son with his house (in
Elsmere, Kentucky - just south of Cincinnati) - painting and stripping
wallpaper. I have one small bathroom left to do. I banged my head
pretty good at the end of July and now have minor vision problems - so
it isn't easy to type.
For you newcomers, I used to talk about my son, Matt, all the time on
the list. I didn't really enjoy middle school until my own son became
middle school age. From then on, middle school was my favorite level
to teach. Matt went on to major in mechanical engineering at Ohio
University and now works for Toyota in Erlanger, Kentucky (right along
the side of the guys who went to the big name engineering schools).
Hope you all have a wonderful 2008/2009 school year.
Enjoy what you do! Those of you who have been placed in difficult
situations, remember there are many out looking for a job. Make the
best of it. Maybe it will be temporary? Hopefully we will see a change
in 2009. Your votes are very important! I am retired now, so have the
time to volunteer for the Obama campaign. I have been working the
phone lines and will be going door to door soon.
