Section 1) All students in attendance at ____________ are eligible for
membership in the Art Club.

Section 2) The Art Club officers shall consist of one President, Vice
President, Treasurer, and Secretary. Officers are all nominated and
elected by majority vote by the membership.

Section 3) Attendance is required at a weekly lunch hour meeting to
maintain membership and Art Club privileges. For the Art Club
officers, attendance is also required at any executive meetings called
outside of the weekly lunch hour meeting.

Section 4) The weekly lunch hour meeting will adhere to formal
protocol beginning with roll call, Presidential call to order, reading
of the minutes from the previous meeting, and all new business
requiring a motion, second and majority vote of members present.

Section 5) The Advising Teacher's role is to assist the club in
achieving its goals as moved by the main body, act as a liaison
between the students of Armijo and the community, local, and state.
The Advising Teacher has no voted in club business but may address the
meeting to advise, council and serve as a source of professional
information. The Advising Teacher's signature must accompany any and
all approved expenditures of Art Club funds.

Section 6) All Art Club officers (and members) should maintain high
academic standards, good citizenship and follow Armijo school rules
and code of conduct. Failure to do so will result in impeachment
proceedings governed by officers in good standing and the membership
body. Any officer that fails to attend the weekly meeting three
consecutive times, or is chronically absent will automatically
relinquish his/her office. The membership body will immediately vote
upon another member to replace the vacant office.

Section 7) Duties of the club officers are as follows; President, lead
meetings and act as student public relations director; Vice President,
act as President in his/her absence and assist with organizing special
events; Treasurer, student accounting of Art Club funds and signature
required on all expenditures; Secretary, record minutes of all formal
meetings and represent Art Club at Leadership Club Council meetings
along with the President.

Section 8) The Art Club shall engage in at least one significant
community service activity per semester. The membership body will
decide on the activity at the beginning of each semester.
