My grandson likes to do most things with art supplies. He paints and don't
forget finger paint or finger paint with pudding. I put tempera in baby food
jars and put a paint brush in each jar. At first, he might get the jars and
brush mixed up but he does really good now. Don't forget tearing and
gluing. I took a reading class this year and the beginning of writing is scribbles
but then they begin to scribble across the page and then start to draw
circles. All of this is the child getting ready to read and write. We as art
teachers are so special to these little ones. Good luck.
