Camille, one time the Philadelphia Museum of Art had a small gallery devoted
to city high school crayon drawings. They were so amazing. That is when I
realized that the medium was not so important.

And think about simple cultures; they made art with just the things they
could find, and we love that stuff.

I think our culture in America pushes consuming, consuming, consuming. My
elementary kids just want to use stuff greedily.
