Thanks, Pam and others. Pam, I agree with your notes
completely. I was just seeing a window of opportunity
in which I might take a stab at getting an elementary
art teacher in the system. Sadly I don't think it will
ever happen because art is a highly valuable subject
in itself. I think it will have to be sold to the
Board as a way to improve other scores. I don't really
know that art DOES help math scores - I am the poster
child for that not being the case - I just really
really want us to have an elementary art specialist.
