Oh poor Heather! What they are asking you is insane for the given
time.....But, I did see not too long ago a really cool fun lesson combining P.E. and
Jackson Pollock, I think it was posted back in the spring for outdoor activities.
Basically you place a long strip of roll paper outside and let each of the
teachers (students) run down the paper dripping, splattering paint. You could
include music by choosing music to go along with the activity! It would be simple
enough to set up. Robert Marzano's book is good, I've read it through my
graduate courses. Get the teachers to make homework interesting, not more book
work. For instance, for a math class that is studying percentages have students
go home and find out what percentage of their clothing in the closet or drawers
are light or dark.....Makes it real, makes it fun.
