Ellen, on the day before school starts, I have found out that my mom
must move to assisted living. Yesterday, I had a major panic attack.
Today you made me laugh. I will carry the badge of puce laughter on my
lapel throughout this sure to be unnerving next couple of days in my
life. As if it's not enough to just start school!!!!! I called my
brother who is retired and lives in Florida to come over here and help
deal with this and he is. Life! Pity the poor, putrid, billious, lowly
flea...it doesn't have to deal with such issues. Such a loss to it's
understanding of life. Like Pollyanna said, "Just look for the puce at
the end or the rainbow," Or something like that. I'm feeling rather
puce today.
