Oooooooooh, Ellen! A million thanks for clarifying for me what color
puce is! I can SEE IT! It's as if I have eyes for the first time in my
life for puce! Not exactly mauve, but a relative of mauve. "flea
color"...hahahaha. I don't think I will ever look at a NASTY flea in
the same way again, but will look upon it's remarkable "puceness" with
awe and wonder. If I never saw another flea, it would be too soon, as I
am highly allergic to them. THey give me welts the size of Texas and
the color of mulberry in a week long saga of torture and itching that
profusely colors my skin with their billious toxin.
