I have one in my classroom and never use it, I also think it is useless.
Printing a long time with a spoon is hard on my wrist and I prefer two
wooden drawer pulls glued end to end. If you can find the large squarish
ones, those are my favorite to print with, and a flat circle one for the
holding end.
