Hi All,
This website contains various aspects of an elementary art lesson from Kenai Peninsula School District. They use a lessoon from Adventures in Art on Animals - Line Texture and Pattern. (grade 1)

On this webpage are links to rubrics and assessments, writing standards, relating to this specific lesson.
 One feature is a 27 minute video clip of an instructor explaining an oil pastel version of this lesson.
Always good to see how someone else approaches a lesson.
