Hi Mikel,
I have only taught middle school for sixteen years! I dare say you are in for
a wee bit of a culture shock, BUT not one that is insurmountable. The main
thing you will face is these kids are just getting their hormones;) And, in this
day and age you will probably find that they think they are a bit older than
they are. But, they are still just kids and our job is to educate them so they
can reach the next level. I'm sure you will be fine and you will love the
