being Summer I am not surprised :)
I did this in 1976 with a small group of students in a summer school class.
I used paper towels rolled up to follow the strreet lines and built up
shapes with matt board. Then I laminated it with toilet paper and thinned white
glue sollution. They were painted with acrylic and antiqued with oil paint.
This started many relief projects in the future.
