What about the artists who have successfully created in a variety mediums
(Picasso, Matisse, Michelangelo...)?

When I graduated from college, Fine Art majors were expected to master all
the visual arts subjects offered by the University - drawing, painting,
sculpture, printmaking, 2 and 3D design and ceramics - in order to obtain the BFA
degree.

At my school I am grouped with Music and Phys Ed and Computer as the
"Specials"!!
