bathroom in our building, plus the intercom and phones. Of course there's
still no air conditioning, no internet access, no water fountain, no screens on
the windows, no storm windows, but
We had a custodian overcome by the heat and taken to the hospital by
ambulance this summer. A school committee member, who saw him after the trouble asked
why they hadn't turned the AC on in the building when they worked on such hot
days?

You would think that school committee members would know whether we have AC
or not. They built three new schools, some time back. Made for AC with all the
duct work and sealed windows. Then never put in the final things to put in the
AC. Mold everywhere, kids and teachers sick. Finally someone died, they
cleaned the building and put in the AC, after many teachers and kids were sick. It
took years.

Our last built school have AC, but the reconstruction of the high
school($53,000,000) has caused an argument over AC. There was not going to be any except
in the office area. Now I think they've decided to put it in the science wing,
too.
