Phones, intercoms & "modern" conveniences (was bookbinding)

Our school is old. Like REAL old. This will be our 126th continuous session and teachers are spread out in 3 big, separate buildings. I'm delighted and amazed that we're finally getting some "modern" conveniences!! For the first time, ever, we'll have a bathroom in our building, plus the intercom and phones. Of course there's still no air conditioning, no internet access, no water fountain, no screens on the windows, no storm windows, but hey, we're slowly getting there! It's really a beautiful place, though--the 1990s movie "Toy Soldiers" was filmed here, as was "Major Payne":
