Hi!
I have been searching for a great first project and I LOVE this! The hands
do SO many things, talk (sign language) tell stories (hula) give people comfort
(hug) create art, music, build things... I could go on! I teach K-5 so I am
thinking of making a different project for each grade level. Maybe K-1 we
could trace our hands and create self-portraits of the special things our hands
help us do, or for the older grades, we could draw hands doing things, helping
people....
Carol- In my searching for other ideas, I came across this lesson... I will
have to adapt it, but maybe it will spark some ideas for you...
