As far as class size, you should be able to go to your state's education
association web site and search it and find out what the rules are for class size.
In Texas, the class size is supposed to be about 25. Your district can
request a waiver and they will raise the size to 30. If they get the waiver, they
can go over by 10% which would be 33. That is the maximum allowed class size in
Texas, I believe. I researched this last year when I had a huge class of 47. I
told them this information and they took out all but 33.
I don't know if it is different from state to state.
There are the rules, and there are waivers, and then certain percentages over
the waiver.
