Dear Elementary Teachers,

I joined Art4Kids just to get ideas to pass on to you. Check out
Anne-Claire's Dinosaurs - and paper sculpture for kids (she used MaryAnn
Kohl's book for inspiration on that one) - Dinosaurs have a lot of invention
included.

From Anne-Claire:

You will find (for now) the dinosaurs and the 3D sculpture... More will
come!

P.S. Folks, Anne-Claire is from Portugal (also a Getty list member - I have
"seen" her there, too) and they do not have an elementary art program. She
teaches in an art center that she set up with her partner, a sciene
specialist. I may not have that 100% right- but it is close enough. I'll be
sharing more details on the science/dinosaur unit linking to these images
(soon).

P.P.S. I have a whole folder of ideas for the wee ones and will get to that
when all of you are busy....updating the Early Childhood/Kindergarten
section of IAD is on my "to do" list...that just keeps growing.
