not knowing anything about making a wedging board... :-) I used the top of
a box (like for paper) maybe 2-3 inches deep, mixed up some plaster and
smoothed it out. Let it dry....it has worked for 3 years!!! The first one I made,
I started using before it was completely dry and it cracked. But this one
(made immediately after the first one) has held up under much pounding!!! It
is a great size...will hold a manageble amount of clay, I can move it around or
hide it out of sight if necessary. It did not cost me a dime! I have so
much plaster....you can't imagine!
