Joe,
Wheat paste is no longer used in our district for 2 reasons:
It attracted insects and many students were allergic to it.
In fact, when my daughter was in Kdgn. (another district), I got a frantic
call saying that she had broken out in hives while doing a papier mache' project
with wheat paste. And she's not even allergic to wheat.
