I used to teach a Commercial Art class...

my first project was always to develop a logo using their initials... they
then had to put that logo on everything else they designed for the rest of
the year.

The best one ever was a student with the initials MAW...
M on top=fangs
a=tongue
W on bottom=fangs
very creative.
