Re: Fun and Creative ideas for Kindergarten lessons

You can look at my art gallery. Just go to and look for school
home pages. My school is Wells Elementary.
I begin with the Mona Brookes drawing alphabet then work in color, shapes and
texture throughout the year. I use a lot of childrens stories as a tie in.
Today we read Bears' Day and drew a bear for them to take home and color.
WE are also working on a book of the elements of art that they will take home
Next on our list is drawing a bird. I use construction paper crayons on black
paper. I read the book Feathers for Lunch by Lois Ehlert. We'll also do a
pictture using the letters of the alphabet.
