i give my students a piece of paper with 5-7 lines of varying type on it,
xeroxed, so they can't erase them and have them look at it from all four
sides. then tell them to do the same thing they would do if they were looking
at clouds in the sky, see something. i get amazing results. they can add
anything they want but it must be one picture when they get done.
