Tenure?!!! LOL. The state of Oregon took our tenure away two years ago. I
heard today that all the art teachers with ten or more years with the
district got letters asking them to volunteer to take a year's leave. to save
money. Now lets see, we are beginning the school year without a contract. Who
will the district replace those experienced teachers with? Hmmm... And since
we are facing the very REAL possibility of a strike, who do you think will be
more likelyto cross a picket line, hmmm...
