What qualities denote fame?

Word play: limelight, top-dog, etc.

. . . or perhaps a spin on fame:

Fame - ous paintings, sculptures, prints, architecture, etc.
Fame - ous quotes
Fame - ous songs
Fame - ous fashions
Fame - ous heroes
Fame - ous names . . . etc., etc.
