I was taught the principles with a phrase. "C Ed Burp" I still remember it
that way and can list the principles in that order to my classes. I point
out the phrase as the first letter of each word.

C-Compostion
Ed - Emphasis/Dominance
B-Balance
U-Unity
R-Rhythm
P-Proportion

Cant come up with a phrase for the elements. No vowels.
