<<I did this with a group of HSers in textiles class last spring. The pieces
were awesome and far less difficult than the mess associated with
Batik. this group had the attention span of a gnat so the lesson was perfect

Gelato, do you have any pictures you could share of your students' work?
Last year for the first time I started incorporating some "fabric" work with
my HS students--sewing, weaving, cross-stitch, etc. and this summer at the
arts camp where I worked, a teacher was doing some cool stuff with fabric
crayons. I'd love to see examples, as I'm looking for some special and
different sorts of things for my students this year!
