Our kindergarten teachers have the students make books about every thing!
They make "A" books, "B" books....you get the idea. Drawing is a large part
of the kindergarten language arts program in our school. The alphabet comes
from those initial scribbles!!! I am lucky, in my school, kinders and
first graders who need extra fine motor help come to me for an extra half an
hour a week. The kinder teachers tell me it does help!
