If you are lucky enough to live were endangered birds still survive, be
especially careful. There was a report on the news a few years back,
that being in possession of the feather of an endangered bird is a
felony.

Do be careful about using "real" feathers. You can purchase natural
quail
feathers from many art supply stores. They are beautiful, clean and
sterile.
I use lots of things from outside, but I won't use feathers. You just
