Sorry for the 1/2 finished sent out mail. I have a touchy laptop. Here's
the rest...
I spoke with some Tribal Elders from the Denver Indian Council last year and
I was told that they prefer that non-native people do not recreate Kachinas
because they are so sacred. Some things they found permisable were
re-creating/designing the costumes worn by the Kachinas, You may want to
check in your area.
    Also Woody, I'm planning on having my fourth and fifth grade students
make clay storytellers this year, too.
