I suggest that you finish your classes for your licensure, as it sounds like you are still in the program. I suggest that you contact me off the list, as I've been in a similar situation.

  Hi all,

I am fairly new on this list I listen and print more than I contribute. But I need help I am in graduate school for art ed and have only taken three classes so far. The principle from our neighborhood high school called today and said they had a last second resignation. School starts on the 27th this month.

Any good tips for me on how and what to do and say on an interview. I received my art degree in 1980, am 45 years and just decided I miss being with kids, I am tired of the corporate scene. So going back to school in the year 2001 is or was kind of scarry to say the least. This will be my only change to do good on this interview. All the other art positions are filled already.
any suggestions, what about a teachers portfolio of lesson plans or research work?? That is about all I have. What do you think of the whole portfolio idea??

  thanks, Linda in Leesburg (Virginia)
