art as the vehicle for school reform -- art reaches everyone -- everyone can
have "success" in art

vehicle for beginning diversity conversations -- seeing the similarities
between cultures and appreciating the differences

development of fine and gross motor skills; imagination and identity

etc. etc.

I think art is the vehicle for everything that's worthwhile in life!!
