I bought a good book today at Barnes and Noble--at quite a good price! It's called "Essential Impressionists" ISBN# 1840847034. Full of pictures and good history, hard cover for only $9.98.
One I'd recommend if you cover Impressionism in your classrooms.
I'm an affliate with both Amazon and Barnes and Noble--and usually order from Amazon but didn't notice it on their site (and happened to be in B&N).
Anyhow, I think it's well worth the money, and while my planning for this coming year is still pretty loose (YIKES!) I'm seriously thinking about developing some sort of theme for my HS kids around the whole Impressionist movement. Dunno yet. Suggestions?
Featuring art and art lesson plans, examples of my
artwork, genealogy resources, information about
contra dancing and Celtic music--and more!
