Special needs children are very rewarding. I taught many classes of special
needs children in a regular school situation. They also came with one or two
aides all the time. Aim for process and not project. They love
experimenting with all sorts of materials. Make sure they are non-toxic
because there was always one that liked to sample materials in their mouths.
