How do you organize your files??? Mine are in file boxes but I need to
categorize and I guess cross reference.
I don't know- specific artists, projects, media, grades. It is such a
big task I can't even begin.

I spent all summer reorganizing my files. I have about 6 file cabinets, and
use several drawers for my art club, Prom, Nahs, Jr. class sponsor
stuff,confidential stuff, and morgue files. The rest I alphabetize by major
classification, ie. Drawing, museums, Painting, sculpture, artists, etc. THEN
I also write on the outside of the file folder any info that is important,
AND, whether it is crossreferencced anywhere. I think I'll actually be able
to put my hands on things this year. This is my 3rd year and there were tons
of old tests, lesson plans, etc. that I'd never seen. Next I want a CD burner
in my room so I can scan my old School arts mags in and not have to dig each
time. I have a sticky note thing going on with each article now, but that's
not very efficient!! It took alot of time, but I'm excited that it's nearly
done!!! Lots of cool new things to try this year!! Thanks to all!!! Deb W.
