After using bigfoot.com for years because it offered "free, permanent email for life" and a way to consolidate my various email accounts, they suddenly have decided that they're only going to forward up to 25 emails per day, unless I want to pay for their service. BOOOOOOOOO! I finally went to their site to see why so many of my friends were complaining of mail bouncing back to them, especially if they were writing in the evening.
Anyhow, you'll now see me posting as email@example.com instead of firstname.lastname@example.org
While this is a pain in the butt (i.e. notifying family and friends of the address change) what concerns me is that I've also used their redirecting service for my website. I've gradually been changing that when I've posted here and on genealogy forums, but most of the search engines that have picked up my site are using the other listing. OH WELL!!
Featuring art and art lesson plans, examples of my
artwork, genealogy resources, information about
contra dancing and Celtic music--and more!
