Sounds like your school is really harsh - keeping students off the principals
honor roll because of satisfactory grades in art . My school is way toooooo
lenient with behavior
problems. Even if I give the "rotten eggs" the lowest grade in art because
of behavior
they can stil be on honor roll because "art is not a core subject and doesn;t
count"!!
I have fought this battle for 6 years and no one cares. These same kids act
up in
middle school and their teachers can;t keep them off the honor rolls - only
their
academic grades count not behavior problems!!! REally a rotten system. This
next
year I have the music teacher on my side so we may make some inroads into the
