 .I work with 5th and 6th grade
When I use a rubric....If they all get Satisfactory's it's a 88-90...
That's my base line....if the go up...I give them so many points and if they
go down...so many points. If the go up and down....just add and subtract.
It there is absolutely no effort...I will really subtract!
In general kids know that I am fair. Actually with a rubric, I get very
little complaints. I also show a rubric to the parents at the first open
house so they know what is going on too.
