YOU could do a lesson from the point of view of why these paintings were
created and how they were created? How these artist used the resources at
hand to leave behind a story of their lives. If you (meaning the student)
were to leave a story or artwork for someone to find 10,000 years from now,
how would you leave it? What would you show? What media would you use?
Would it last 10,000 years?
I think (my own personal point of view) these are the things to get students
thinking...not whether or not they can paint on rocks.
