I load my kiln the day before and arrive early to start it. It's in the
boiler room, so I have to go out requently to check it. On an 05 fire, it
takes about 8 hours so is usually finished before I have to leave school for
the day. I don't use glaze, the kids paint or stain their clay. Janet
