Dear Mr. Parker,
My name is Efo Kodjo Mawugbe. I serve as the Executive Director of
AFRICAN-NORTH AMERICAN BRIDGE (Ghana). Mr. Isaac Osei-Ampadu of Nonviolence
International gave me your information and recommended your forthcoming
training workshops on Alternatives to violence and a meeting of Minds to me.
Furthermore, we are interested in sending a delegate to take part in the
program. Please let me know if there is still a space available to allow for
our participation.
Please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or concerns.
Sincerely,
Efo Kodjo Mawugbe
Executive Director
Afrinab Ghana.
The following is a brief summary of Afrinab Ghana
AFRICAN-NORTH AMERICAN BRIDGE, an international not -for- profit
organization committed to the promotion of bilateral understanding between
Africa and North America via a variety of educational and cultural exchanges
and support of artistic initiatives. Today, the information technology
sector seems to have significantly broken down almost every barrier of
distance among people and places. This situation has given rise to an
expanding economic interaction and co-operation between governments and
among nations without a corresponding expansion in the understanding of the
cultures of these trading partners.
The role of cultural interaction in making the world a better place for all
mankind cannot be over-emphasized.
The AFRICAN-NORTH AMERICAN BRIDGE is set up to strengthen the already
existing ties between Africa and North America by way of cultural exchanges.
We therefore recognize the need to encourage the construction of cultural
bridges among the people of Africa and North American as a way of making
this World a better place for ourselves and generations yet unborn.
Mr. Efo Mawugbe
