Re: "New" color wheel -long

The origin of the color wheel with which everyone is so familiar dates back
several hundred years to about the 1600s. Physicists of that time and over
time since then have designed many devices which demonstrate the
relationships between pigment colors. The wheel simply worked out to be the
easiest to use. Goethe is just one of the many physicists and artists who
have spent a great deal of time on color theory. The value of the color wheel
and the prism of light color have not gone away. They have simply been joined
by some other theories brought about by the advent of new technologies, or
new media if you wish. Dating back to an even earlier time is an expression
