How many children were killed at school in the 50's?
But yes, of course, the 50's were repressed in many ways. it was a time
to hide many things. However, I think we can look at the good parts of
the 50's and think about how to integrate them into and replace the bad
parts of the 90's!
Help me add to this list::::::: Good parts were:
* one parent at home with children, especially from ages 0-5
* 2 parent families, meal times for togetherness
* less violence in the media - especially at prime time on tv or in the
magazines children were exposed to
* schools were safe
* neighbors/neighborhoods watched out for children, even if they didn't
