marking period grades

Well it's time to slap those grades on those kids!!!!!!I have been soul
searching and have decided to try to develop a fair assessment process. I
have some questions for other art teachers who may be doing assessment.

Do you take into account learning disabilities or language differences when
students are mainstreamed or any other type of information you may be able to
get that may sway your grade????How do you find information about students
that classroom teachers may know which can have an effect on their behavior
or performance in your class?

I have about 450 students. Is there anyone out there that is trying or has
been successful at doing an assessment which includes student input with this
amount of students??????
