As soon as the bell rings, my HS students begin a
timed three minute drawing. I write a new subject to
draw up on a dry erase board, that I have in the
middle of my chalk board. They are practicing drawing
facial features right now. I also have them draw
objects in the room, their hands, still lifes set up
on their tables and whatever else I can think of.
After they draw, I explain the day's work and they get
busy. It has really worked out for me. BTW, I only
have 45 minute periods, that is why the 3 minute time.
4.I, as an effective teacher, will try to affect and touch lives positively.
Another goal I chose this year.
