funny story: I put on the radio often in elem. art classes while they are
working but only put on public radio classical or jazz music as I don't think
the rap/pop is appropriate in school. I also hope that the music will calm
them down too. I have explained that studies have shown that students who
listen to classical music before a test did better than those who didn't
listen to it so I call this "smart" music. Inevitably, whenever the radio
gets turned on, someone will ask if I wouldn't please play "dumb music"
instead. ha! It cracks me up, but the answer is still no.... Susan.
